[ILL-L] Cannot renew an item in WRS???

I am not able to renew an item in WRS. This item is overdue (which is fine,
we are happy to renew nonetheless). The current status of the request is
RENEWAL REQUEST. However, there is no "yes renew" option available (note: I
do all of my updating in Clio, which failed on send for this record. If my
terminology is incorrect where updating within WRS is concerned, please
forgive me). Since I was not able to renew the item via Clio (which threw
org.oclc.sage.service.external.v.1_1.ValidationResuoltillreq3.prd.oclc.orgon
SendUpdate, for what its worth), I tried to alter and update the due
date
in WRS. If fails there too ("an error occurred during the execution of this
action"). Am I missing something? Have others encountered this?
