Come to the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) Open House at
Mid-Winter 2008! 

 
Are you:
* Curious about what RUSA has to offer?

* Wondering if RUSA is a good fit with your professional interests?
* Already a RUSA member and want to maximize the benefits of your
membership dues? 
* Interested in serving on a RUSA or RUSA section committee or task
force but aren't sure where to start? 


Get answers to these questions and more at the RUSA Open House at
Mid-Winter 2008!

When: Saturday, 1/12/2008, 4-6 p.m.
Where: Loews, Regency Ballroom A
What: representatives of RUSA and its six sections will be on hand to
answer any questions you have about RUSA 

 

RUSA is the Reference & User Services Association of the American
Library Association and cover many topics of interest to public services
librarian (reference, access/circulation, interlibrary loan, ...) or
librarians interest in business, economics and history.  RUSA has six
sections: 

* Business Reference and Services Section (BRASS) 
* Collection Development and Evaluation Section (CODES)
* History Section (HS)
* Machine-Assisted Reference Section (MARS)
* Reference Services Section (RSS--formerly MOUSS) 
* Sharing and Transforming Access to Resources Section (STARS)
