[ILL-L] Items dropped from review file- length of time ?

I have noticed this over the past few months, as well. I have had
requests in the review file disappear after they have been sitting there
a while. However, if you search your active requests, you can still find
them (sometimes I just search for my own symbol as the borrower, other
times I search for my patrons' names). I can only imagine why this
happens--I currently have one request that recently disappeared, myself.

Subject: [ILL-L] Items dropped from review file- length of time ?
I had numerous items in my review file which had been there for almost 4
weeks (waiting on NYPL).
I changed the "need by" date to January 31 2008 and updated each record
to reflect the new date.
Today those records are gone from my review file.
Did I do something wrong or do they drop out based on the original
request date?
thanks for any insight.
