At this time last year I posted a message about creating an ILL map, with
dots representing libraries that loaned to us, and to whom we loaned through
the year. It was something I had done at 3 other libraries, and it provided
to be a valuable publicity/promotion activity. It also added color to an
office with all white walls.
In 2008, I'm wanting to track activity electronically and we'll post it, or
link to it, from the ILL page on the Library's webpage.
I've looked at google.map, where we can set balloons on the geographic
sites. I've looked at another system where you can input zip codes which
display on a map. It's drawback is if we want free use, commercial
advertising is included.
Another suggestions for free software or systems that would visually depict
locations?
Thanks,
Paul
