We do. It's not as popular as Forty Years A Hooker but it's a
perennial. We have one copy at a branch and it's out of print.

My favorite most requested ILL book is How to keep slim, healthy and
young with juice fasting / by Paavo O. Airola, 1971. I guess no one
else has written a book on this topic since then? :)

We, too, have a few titles that we seem to be a prime source
for. We own
FRAMEWORK FOR UNDERSTANDING POVERTY also, as well as the
following,
	apparently rare, items:

The Sharpe Companion: a historical and military guide to Bernard
Cornwell's
	Sharpe novels

The Warren Companion: the definitive compendium to the great
comics of
	Warren Publishing

Smith Wigglesworth: the complete collection of his life's
teachings

The tower of Babel / Gloria Clanin (children's book)

Every 1's a winner: the very best of Hot Chocolate (CD)

The best of the Emotions: the best of my love (CD)

I don't even need to know the call numbers for these - I can
find them from
	memory every time!

Though we're a small library, we have two copies of FRAMEWORK
FOR
UNDERSTANDING POVERTY, and they're usually both out on ILL. We
just got a
copy back a couple of days ago; we had to say No to a couple of
libraries
that had requested it recently. If any of you are trying to
borrow this
book, try GLG fast, before it goes out again.

Another book that has boosted our circulation stats is THANKS! -
A GUIDE TO
DONOR-CENTRED FUNDRAISING. One of our patrons requested it on
ILL a few
years ago, and I wondered, seeing the British spelling in the
title, why she
wanted a foreign book on fundraising. No US library had it, so
we purchased
a copy from Canada, then started getting ILL requests for it. (I
see that
it's now in three US libraries, but one of them charges $15 and
the other is
	a museum.)

When I first came here, we got a lot of requests for THE ARMY
LIFE OF FRANK
EDWARDS. We loaned it to several libraries before discovering
it was
selling on ABE for $2000. We quickly moved it to Special
Collections, and
feel lucky that we got it back all those times we loaned it.
