[ILL-L] Need short chapter from Spanish book: El libro delas sirenas. Roquetas de Mar, Spain

I think we can copy one chapter from a book for a patron, as we can copy one article from a journal issue, without paying copyright. In Clio, these requests are kept with the article requests and are marked CCL or CCG, and after five CCG requests within one year, we would have to pay copyright. That's my understanding, Ed.

I am curious on what basis we justify copying from books and how we keep records like we do for journal articles. Corinne Nyquist
