According to OCLC, the previous title of Contemporary Family Therapy was
International Journal of Family Therapy, ISSN 0148-8384. You may want to
try OCLC #3531428.  I won't guarantee this is what your patron wants,
but volume 7 was in 1985 (the last issue was Winter 1985), and it seems
to be in plenty of libraries.

I am looking for the journal "Contemporary family therapy", ISSN
#0892-2764 (print), vol 7 #4, Dec 1985, pages 223-234. It appears there
are no libraries that have this before 1986. Even the OCLC record says
it started with 1986. But my citation is for 1985 & I did verify it. It
looks like I could get the article from Springer/Link for $32. Does
anyone on the list happen to have vol 7, 1985 of this title? Thanks for
any help you may provide!
