I like getting books with the book strip and I usually put them on the
ones that I send out.
It's easier to do the book straps then try to print two copies of the
paperwork. For some reason, the print function on the OCLC stuff will
not let you print more than one copy at a time.
When I get a book with a book strap in, all I have to do is check it in
via OCLC and give it to the patron.

Subject: lending book straps not needed?
I notice that maybe half of the books we borrow don't have lending book
straps, we add a borrowing book strap to all books. Our books are well
stamped and identifiable, and when we lend them I assume the borrowing
library adds a borrowing book strap with the due date. Any reasons to
continue using lending book straps? Thanks, Ed.
