[ILL-L] RE: lending book straps not needed?

Yes, I would include part of the Clio printout, which has all the
information and the scannable ILL number on it. But someone said they
don't put on a borrowing book strap if there is a lending one, so
putting on a lending one saves them a step. Ed.

IMHO: No.
 
But please DO include a printout of the request with the request ID in
barcode format (for scanning).

I notice that maybe half of the books we borrow don't have lending book
straps, we add a borrowing book strap to all books. Our books are well
stamped and identifiable, and when we lend them I assume the borrowing
library adds a borrowing book strap with the due date. Any reasons to
continue using lending book straps? Thanks, Ed.
