Thanks to everybody to made suggestions on my IE7 Security question.
Keith turns out to have had the right answer: I got our IT people to
restore the Security tab for me and was able to make the changes OCLC
suggests to download files for printing.

Thank you, Keith!

Talk to your IT people. These tabs are one of many things can be
removed or controlled using the Administrator functions in the control
panel. Most likely, someone made a decision about downloads on that
computer. Look on some of the other machines in your area and see.

Subject: [ILL-L] Problem allowing file download in IE7

Hello ILLers,

I have read OCLC's troubleshooting sheet on allowing the batch print
files to download, but I seem to have a weird version of IE7 that HAS NO
SECURITY SETTINGS TAB. I have looked and looked and cannot find any
settings that will let me allow file downloads from specific sites. When
I go to Tools - Options, there is no Security tab. There is a Privacy
tab, but there's no mention of allowing file downloads, only blocking
popup windows. I've added <*.oclc.org> to the sites that it should allow
cookies from and to my Pop-up Blocker Exceptions list, but this seems to
make no difference to the way batch printing functions - which is
"tedious and aggravating." I have to mark Pending requests for
printing, then Return and Clear and mark the (same requests but now) In
Process for printing, click on my Pop-up blocker bar to allow the file
download, tell it to open the file, and THEN give the print command. Old
news to most, I'm sure, but when I called my regional support person she
hadn't heard about any versions of IE7 that don't have the Security tab
with the File Download settings.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any words of wisdom? Our
campus IT dept. doesn't like IE and wants me to use Firefox, but it's
troublesome to print the correct text size with Firefox. They also don't
want me to try to revert to IE6 and they say the campus servers will
just re-update me to IE7.

Thanks for any help!
