[ILL-L] CCG vs CCL

Way back when I was first trained in ILL, I was told CCG encompassed the 5
previous calendar years, and to disregard the current year when counting
back. My understanding is that the entire calendar year for 2003 would be
CCG.

Sorry to ask a question that probably seems so obvious to y'all but I want
to be sure I am doing this right...
When I assign the CCG or CCL designation now that we're in 2008, if a
journal is for December 2003 does it get CCG or CCL? I was told CCG is 5
calendar years meaning anything in 2004,2005,2006,2007,2008 but then I also
heard it is 5 years prior meaning that some journals from 2003 would be CCG
as well. Thanks for your feedback.
