[ILL-L] Dissertations...to catalog or not to catalog

re: cataloging...because of the cost. Especially if they are unique 
items, they would require original cataloging (more expensive staff) and 
then there's binding costs as well. At our university, we subsidize the 
purchase of unbound dissertations from Dissertation Express, collecting 
$10.00 from the patrons, and let them keep the copy. We only have to 
purchase one or two a month.
