[ILL-L] Epub ahead of print

Hi Tim,

Sometime the "e-pub" is in a less than finalized version but often it
is the final version  but becomes available before the next scheduled
issue of the journal is ready.  Publisher-hosted
journals usually have a tab or link called "e-pub" or something
similar in under which these papers are listed in chronological order.

The citations frequently appear in databases (in my own experience,
PubMed particularly) and appear at the top of the results list so are
very popular.These items can be a nightmare to find via ILL as they
are available only on the publisher-hosted web page and not usually
through an aggregated full-text database and it can be difficult to
determine who has what kind of access.
