[ILL-L] Canceled Requests and ILL Stats

I guess when you say 'before sending it to other libraries' you mean it's in the review file. If we don't request these, I delete them, and they show up as cancelled in the completed OCCL file. I guess I could leave them in the review file and they would disappear in two weeks (?).
I think the second situation would also lead to a cancelled status also and appear in the completed OCLC section. My guess is that OCLC requests don't disappear until they're 6 months old, Ed.

Subject: [ILL-L] Canceled Requests and ILL Stats

Hi All,
I am very curious about the character of requests that are counted as "Canceled" by OCLC.
Mainly, I would like to know what instances put a request in that category. For instance, if I find that we own a book requested by one of our patrons
and delete it before sending it out to any other libraries; does that request show up as "Canceled," or does it just disappear? Also, when I delete a request,
because of a conditional I've received (rather than "refusing" it and sending to another library); does it become "canceled," or show as "borrower refused conditions?"

Thanks,
     ~Joe
