[ILL-L] Audiovisual Lending

I am very sorry to have to send this email.  Our county is experiencing
the second year of budget turndown and all departments have been given
the task of reducing their operating budgets.  The library has been able
to manage a portion of this by implementing a hiring freeze.  The
situation has been protracted by a reduction in taxes collected, and our
Administration, looking for more cost cutting, has placed a moratorium
on lending and borrowing of audio visual materials.  We have been proud
to participate with other reciprocal lenders and hope that this
temporary measure will be short lived.  This is effective immediately.
