[ILL-L] Seeking tips and tricks to ease Postage Woes - recap

Hello!

I apologize for sending out the recap to my query so late.  Attached to
this email is a full-text summary of what every wrote in regards to my
question.

In short, the choices were to try the following:  1) consolidating -- if
there is a library that you frequently ship to, consolidate all the
materials into one shipment instead of separate shipments.  2) Use the
USPS Flat Rate Priority boxes to ship multiple materials to the same
destination (rates start at $9) 3) Use UPS -- some institutions have
found that it is a better value, and 4) Saying "No" to Lending Requests.

If anyone else has any additional input, feel free to add to my list.
