[ILL-L] Microfilm Scanpro 1000

Does anyone have experience using the Microfilm Scanpro 1000? We are considering purchasing it because many of our students prefer digital images to paper copies from microforms.
 
We have several questions:
 
Is it simple for new users to operate?
Is it simple for experienced staff to operate?
Are the images good?
Is the machine reliable?
Does it require frequent servicing?
Is there anything else, good or bad, we should know about it?
