NOW FOR MY VENT: Ebsco databases continue to index but not supply text of titles that no library in North America claims to own. I've encountered this numerous times over the past 10 years, and I repeatedly tell EBSCO reps at Conference exhibits of this disfavor to library users. I'm told that titles are included through recommendations. My reply is, if this title is so important to the field, why doesn't some library in North America subscribe?

This is the bane of all ILL staff.  We spend so much time trying to find a full text option, and then we have to tell our customers that we can't get it.  Disappointment and frustration across the board...
