[ILL-L] ILL usage by library staff

I use ILL occasionally for personal use. I certainly don't use it as
much as the depts. I order ILL's for. If there is a fee for something I
have requested personally, I have paid it although we do not charge our
patrons.

Subject: [ILL-L] ILL usage by library staff

Just an informal survey here - feel free to reply off-list

-Do members of your library staff regularly request ILL items for their
own personal use?

-Do ILL staff use it more than staff from other departments?

-If your library charges patrons a fee to borrow, do staff also pay the
fee?

I'm curious because I do succumb to temptation now and then and "surf"
OCLC for items to borrow; I was wondering if others out there do the
same. I would think that staff who use ILL would be more likely to
recommend it to patrons. Also, we do charge our patrons a fee ($1.50 to
cover postage), and to be honest, sometimes I don't pay it...
