[ILL-L] Citation Help

I have a citation for an article a student wants that has me stumped.
It is from a "selected abstracts" section in a journal article. The
citation reads: "Chem. Ber. 45, 503 (1962)." The first sentence of the
abstract reads "The synthesis of santene in a two-step reaction...has
been accomplished by H.J. Ache."

I found the abbreviation "Chem. Ber." should stand for the journal
Chemische Berichte, but volume 45 of that journal was published in 1912;
by 1962 they were to volume 95. I also assumed (wrongly perhaps?) that
the author of the article would be H.J. Ache, but there is no article
published by him in either 1912 or 1962 in the journal Chemische
Berichte that I can find using ISI index.

At this point, I am at a total loss. Any help in tracking down this
article, as well as any advice on how to track down these sorts of
citations in the future would be greatly appreciated (I'm pretty new to
library work). Feel free to contact me on or off list.

Thanks so much.
