[ILL-L] silly Friday question re scan of 3d

Our Minolta 5000C scanner has the option to scan a 3-D object.

 

Has anyone ever scanned a 3-D object for ILL? Is there another use of that
feature - it's good for scanning a particular format of print?

 

 

It's Friday of a busy week, so I thought I'd ask this non-essential
question.
