I have to admit I've always been puzzled by the comment that
someone's email address wasn't in the headers. It must depend on
which mail program the recipient is using. In Eudora, the original
sender's address always shows up in the From header, with the list
address <ill-l at webjunction.org> in the To header. The address
<ill-l-bounces at webjunction.org> shows up in a Sender header, though I
see in the mail you quoted it's in a From header. There is no On
Behalf Of header. The same is true of the web-based client used here
(EMUmail's Webmail client).
Ultimately, this points up the importance of including the
information in one's signature, especially when posting to a professional list!
