[ILL-L] WAS Help: Preliminary report to the Wilson trustees 1909

If you have access to Connexion you could locate the info in the 040
field then.  I do, but I'm at a small operation.  Thank you to Jennifer
Kuehn at Ohio State that gave me that tip.  (I didn't know this one
either.)  Thank you to all who have helped so far on this request.  I do
have an e-mail in to MZA to see what we can work out.

I was viewing the MARC record via ILLiad's interface to WorldCat.
You're right that this information doesn't appear in WorldCat as
accessed via FirstSearch.   Hmm....

This seems like a wonderful way to obtain things which otherwise seem
unobtainable!!!  BUT I'm puzzled - where or how are you seeing the MARC
040 (cataloged by) field - are you referring to the OCLC record itself?
I looked in the record for this report but didn't see it.

MZA (Metropolitan Museum of Art) shows that this is available in their
OPAC.  I've discovered that if I search the OPAC of the institution
listed in the MARC 040 field when OCLC record indicates 0 holders, the
item is often held.

This group is always so helpful.  I am stumped on this one and am hoping
that someone  out there may have some insight as to where I can find it.


 

I have a faculty member that would like to take a look at Preliminary
report to the Wilson trustees the 1909 version which appears to have
been authored by Thomas Callander.  There is a record on OCLC without
any holdings and when I attempt to locate other versions with the same
author & title I only locate the same record that he found and initially
put his request in on.  I have obtained a 1905 or 1906 version but he
really needs the 1909.  (There is a reference to a seal or insignia that
he needs.)  It is only 13 pages so any way we can get it would be
extremely helpful.
