[ILL-L] Another Pet Peeve: Disappearing Requests

I do the same, I update every record from "pending' to "in process"  - 
so the borrower knows I have at least taken the first action, and their 
request is  "in process".  Then I count the requests, and see if the 
request meets the two main components for filling (reciprocal library 
and item not too new- the 2 common reasons a request cannot be 
filled).Then I  search for the requested title.
