[ILL-L] books with cds

Patricia,
I just wanted to quickly comment on this... I don't sent out CD's with
books unless it's specifically stated in the request. We've lost too
many CD's that accompany textbooks to make this a standard practice. I
will send them if they are requested, but as a rule, we don't loan them.


Are we in the minority??

I have an interloan  grumble...

I just received a book  that did not have the cd with it.
Now, I am assuming my patron is expecting the cd to accompany the book.

Do you think a library should 'conditional' a request if they can fill 
the book, but the cd is lacking?
