Our Circ dept desensitizes (they check out all the ILL stuff), 
because we don't have the staff time to walk the patrons over to the 
security gate and hand them over.  But we also re-sensitize them when 
we pick them up at Circ (which we didn't used to do, but started 
after several libraries mentioned it might be a good idea).
