We get as much as we can, but there are limits. At some point we would ask the faculty member to go to the library that has it, and we wouldn't pay the travel charges, but being near NYC, the travel charges are not significant, Ed.

Subject: [ILL-L] faculty with extensive requests.
Faculty often ask for a long run of a periodical, a large microfilm collection or a title in many volumes. Do any libraries send faculty to a collection instead of attempting to borrow?
Does the library/university pay for the faculty members travel expenses?
Some libraries have money to pay visiting scholars to visit their library. Does your library do that?
I appreciate your responses directly to me or to the list.
