We use Avery (4646?), but I see lots of books come in with just the order sheet and no strap at all, which would be easier, Ed.

Subject: [ILL-L] stickers for ILLs?
Greetings,
Here in the dark ages, we still use slips that get taped around the front
covers of our ILLs, both the books going out to other libraries and incoming
loans. Of course, people remove the slips, even tho they all say "do not
remove." But we've noticed more and more books coming in with stickers that
include the lending library's information (ILL#, due date, etc.).
Are most people using stickers now? Are there special stickers that don't
damage book covers (which is my major concern)? Does this cut down on the
slip removal, or do people peel off the stickers, too? Do people just print
these up with blank avery (or whatever) labels?
I'd appreciate anyone's insights.
Thanks,
Kate
