[ILL-L] MLA Citations

Andrew,

Funny you should ask! I've also been having problems locating
records for
a number of MLA's citations. It takes forever to search them and find
anyway
to obtain them. I've figured out a few and found a record in OCLC, but
others
are more difficult or impossible. I've had to send ALA to far-off
countries, contact
the author, etc. That is if I find any good information from an
internet search.
I groan when I see a title found in MLA.

Subject: [ILL-L] MLA Citations

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone else out there was having trouble with
citations from MLA. In the last week we've had 3 that are just off.
One that I've been lucky enough to find (I hope), one that we gave up
on, and then this one today:

Enchiladas or Tacos? Families, frontiers, and food in like water for
choclate
Rose Lucas
Island
1994
60-61

We have no ISSN and I can't find a citation that has it or figure out
which "Island" magazine might have it.

Anyone have any suggestions or anyone else having these issues with MLA
citations?

Thanks,
