It's always nice to hear complimentary things about ILL people and at the
same time learn about the tips and tricks faculty use for getting the
materials they need.

Here's what "Combat Philosopher" says about ILL:

The people who run the Interlibrary Loans (ILL) office though can
be an amazing breed. If you have good ILL people and they like you, then
they can perform miracles!

There are days that I cherish the appreciative things even some other
library's patron says about ILL! This time in the year when there are too
many requests for things not on OCLC, requests for films not distributed in
the US and only on16mm, or having to explain that no Archive will actually
loan 6 cubic feet of assorted realia cataloged at the collection level, I
find myself circling back to re-read Combat's message. We sometimes can
perform miracles. Today? Not so much.
