[ILL-L] Eric question

Armstrong Atlantic State (GAC) has most of the ERIC microfiche, and will make copies for free. Our limit is normally 50 pages, but if it's not too busy we'll go past that. You can place a request using a blank workform if the item hasn't been cataloged in OCLC or doesn't have an EJ number.

You won't find ERIC dicuments by title in WorldCat, unless they're actually books or were catalogued as monographs. Your best bet is to go to OCLC accession #12676405, which indicates 184 holders of ERIC documents, though it only gives holdings for a few of them. I think I mentioned in an earlier e-mail that GPM (Georgia Soutehrn University) appears to have nearly complete holdings (ED000001-Ed483046 <https://pe-mail.lagrange.edu/WebZ/FSFETCH?fetchtype=holdlocal:holdingsorttype=default:recno=1:resultset=1:format=FL:numrecs=1:accInst=508-12676405:next=html/localholdings.html:bad=html/holdings.html:sessionid=fsapp9-40098-f8zyh3hh-8gl11w:entitypagenum=7:0> ) and is free--but it's best to spread the requests around!

If you'd like to e-mail me at arobinson at lagrange.edu with list of your requests, I'll be happy to tell you what we have. We don't have all the ERIC documents on microfiche (I'd guess we have between a quarter and a third of them), but we're a free lender, and will be happy to supply what we have.

Subject: [ILL-L] Eric question

I have received a lot of Eric document requests from local patrons. When I look them up in worldcat, there are no locations to choose from. I have a list of ERIC suppliers, but don't know how to place the request or even if those suppliers have the particular item. What am I missing here or doing wrong??

Thanks,
