The University of Arizona (AZU) is doing a pilot this fall 2007 semester
using Netflix and Greencine to borrow DVD's for our patrons.

We have not analyzed our data yet, but anecdotally, it's looking like
these two vendors do not have the more difficult to obtain titles, like
we were hoping.

We set up an account with the vendor and when the DVD arrives, we place
it in an empty DVD case with our ILL strap to check-out to the patron. 

That process has been working very well.

Whoever responds to Sue re Netflix, could you also copy the response to
me or answer on list.  I've heard Netflix being mentioned by higher ups
not just for ILL but for our regular customers as well.
