Well Julia, don't laugh too loud.

One of our patrons has ordered 839 items from last November to this
November.

All but 9 requests were Loans consisting of CDs, scores, LPs, Cassettes
& some books.

  He also brings us cookies from time to time! J

That's a great idea, to give out an award like that.  But I had to
scoff.  50 requests in a year?  Please.  Amateur. ;-)  MY current winner
is a history faculty who has requested 195 items in the last year alone.
Many in German and many quite obscure. :)  And I'm sure Arthur at La
Grange can top my winner.





Check it out. It reminds me to think about ways to engage users in our
efforts, market services, show-off the staff that provide the fabulous
service and demonstrate our relevance with our patrons.  Kudos to
Jonathan, now a director but with an ILL past. 


In this time of people not coming into the library much (at least, we
have a problem with that on our campus), this is a great idea.  Thanks
for sharing it Jennifer.
