[ILL-L] forwarding electronic documents

If I understand your question correctly, it isn't an issue of copyright law;
but may occasionally be an issue for particular titles, depending on the
arrangement
between the publisher and the lender.
     Basically, if it is legal for them to copy a given title interlibrary
via email, it is legal for you to
pass it on to your patron. By forwarding the article to one patron, you are
not making a copy.
     Once that article is in the hands of your patron, it becomes his/her
responsibility to
mind copyright law.
Sending a stock "This material may be subject to copyright protection"
message couldn't hurt, of course.
