Has anyone ever analyzed their borrowing requests to
quantify the types of library materials their users are
requesting?

To get into the weeds with this question I divided the requested
books (2months) into the following types of publishers discovered
the percentages:

Small presses   15 %
Medium-sized  19 %
Major publishers  37
University press  10
other  13
foreign  2
tech  0

The stereotype here was that my users asked for university press
material or very peculiar items totally out of the mainstream.

Not so.
