[ILL-L] Question about "reasons for no"

I think that "Bad condition" would say it all in a nutshell. Do you
have something in your OCLC policy that lets borrowers know that you
can't supply photocopies from your fiche?

Subject: [ILL-L] Question about "reasons for no"
Just to forewarn everyone - I'm a newbie ILL person here - I
haven't even been doing ILL for a month yet! Just incase my question
doesn't make sense or seems odd to those of you ILL veterans out there!
Not sure whether anyone else would have dealt with this (perhaps
you all have nice microfiche readers!) - but what have you ever given as
a reason for now, when the reason is that our only copies of the journal
are on microfiche (which in my opinion is hard to read on even a good
microfiche printer) and we only have one microfiche reader/printer whose
printer works SOMETIMES (and not very well). I'm assuming most people
would prefer NOT to be getting microfiche printouts from us, and I must
admit I would rather avoid fighting with the machine for something that
would turn out so poorly.
Do you put "bad condition" because the printouts would be bad?
Or would you include something about not sending copies from microfiche
in the policy statement so that you can claim "policy problem"?
