We don't do either of those steps. When we receive it via Ariel, Ariel
inserts a copyright notice. I think it's necessary that the article -
perhaps in the forwarded email - contain a copyright warning. Ed

Subject: [ILL-L] question re: borrowing procedures/workflow

Hello, I am fairly new to ILL and I am looking for information about
typical borrowing procedures.

Specifically, when you receive an electronic article from a lending
library, do you do either of the following before sending it on to the
patron?

- remove the electronic cover sheet
- print the article to be sure that it will print correctly on the
patron's end (as opposed to just previewing it on the computer screen
for possible errors)

Thanks for sharing your procedures with me.

Ellen
