Subject: [ILL-L] Slightly odd question

Hi everyone!

It's Friday, and that means I start wondering about odds and ends in ILL
while my brain gets ready for the weekend. :) I've got a situation
that's popped up a few times that I'm not sure how to answer, and
thought I'd ask what you guys do.

Library A asks for a book. We have two copies, one in Special
Collections and one that circulates. The circulating copy is checked
out. How do we answer the request? Do we say "In Use or On Loan", or do
we say "Non circulating"?

Inquiring minds want to know. All answers greatly appreciated.
