	1.	Does your library offer your patrons self-pickup and self-checkout of their holds? (If "No," please skip to question 5.) YES

	2.	If you answered yes to question 1, does this include ILL items? NO

	3.	If you answered yes to question 2, do you feel this has been successful (ILL items checked out and returned successfully and on time, etc)?

	4.	If you answered no to question 3, please explain (Increased lost and missing items, or items not returned on time, etc). OUR COMMITMENT TO THE LENDING LIBRARY TO TAKE REASONABLE CARE OF THEIR MATERIAL WHILE ON LOAN TO OUR LIBRARY leads us to keep ILL holds behind the desk and release them only to the persons for whom they were requested. On the self-pickup hold shelf, these items would be exposed to greater risk of loss.

	5.	As a lender, would you have concerns about lending materials to a borrower library if you knew they would be putting the material in a public self-pickup and self-checkout area for their patrons? WE WOULD BE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH IT, but would not stop lending unless the level of loss began to escalate.
