[ILL-L] 6 month test period for ILL to Canada

Hi, we loan to Canada. We fill out a US Customs form and also affix a text
for their customs that states there is no commercial value. We use the US
Post Office. I have heard that commercial carriers are more problematic on
their end. We haven't had any more problem with loaning there than anywhere
else. The occasional "where in the world was that item for so long"
scenario, but mostly reasonable travel time.

Subject: [ILL-L] 6 month test period for ILL to Canada
We are going to conduct a six-month trial period for loaning to Canada. We
want to work out some procedures here, and determine if the cost is doable.
Six months is a fair trial period.
Do any libraries loan av across the border? Any problems?
I have updated the Policies Directory to indicate loans to Canada.
