We lend across the border, we send maybe one item a month. Of course the articles are electronic and are easy. We have to send things USPS with a customs form (not UPS), but it seems easy. One book took a long time to get there and to get back, but otherwise it's gone OK, just expect extra time in shipping, Ed.

Subject: [ILL-L] 6 month test period for ILL to Canada
We are going to conduct a six-month trial period for loaning to Canada. We want to work out some procedures here, and determine if the cost is doable. Six months is a fair trial period.
Do any libraries loan av across the border? Any problems?
I have updated the Policies Directory to indicate loans to Canada.
