Dear Andrew,
Here is what I've found. I don't know how well it matches what you've
tried so far.
As far as reliable, there is a document delivery link below each Math
Sci Net article that leads to CISTI, so I would expect the citations to
be fairly good.
Does your professor speak/read Chinese? If not, he may not want the
Zhang article -- unless he can get it translated somewhere.
Poorly Injective Modules
AA Tuganbaev
Mathematical Notes
I could not duplicate the search at Math Sci Net to pull up anything
resembling this title and this journal -- Tuganbaev has 133 article
listed -- none with that title and 19 translated in Math. Notes.
I finally lucked out and found this citation by accident:

Tuganbaev, A. A.
Poorly injective modules. (Russian)
Mat. Zametki 31 (1982), no. 3, 447--456, 475.
16A52
A module $M$ is said to be poorly injective if all endomorphisms of its
submodules can be extended to endomorphisms of $M$. A module $M$ is said
to be weak semi-Artinian if $M/N$ has an essential socle for every
essential submodule $N$ of $M$, and $M$ is said to be weak Noetherian if
for every chain of its submodules $M_1\subseteq M_2\subseteq\cdots$ with
$M_{i+1}/M_i$ essential in $M/M_i$ (for all $i$) there is an $n$ such
that $M_n=M_{n+1}$.
In the paper the author describes poorly injective modules over a prime
right Goldie ring which are not singular, and poorly injective modules
over the following types of rings: right weak semi-Artinian right
Noetherian prime rings, fully bounded Noetherian rings in which every
nonzero prime ideal is maximal and hereditary Noetherian duo-domains.
Further results are the following: Over a right weak Noetherian ring
every poorly injective module with an essential socle is
quasi-injective. Over a right Noetherian ring every poorly injective
module is a direct sum of uniform modules.

I did locate Mathematical Notes info, however.

About Acta Mathematica Sinica
Acta Mathematica Sinica, English Series is the first journal of
Mathematics in China; and now, it is a quarterly journal. Mainly in pure
mathematics, such as Algebra, Number theory, Analysis, Differential
Equation, geometry, Probability and others. It provides authoritative
reviews of current developments in mathematical research. Contributions
are invited from researchers from all over the world.
Acta Mathematica Sinica, directed by the Chinese Mathematical Society,
is the oldest one in China (since 1936), and is the most influential
mathematical journal in China. It has a long history, and is well known
for the high-level research papers it published. Since its beginning,
famous Chinese mathematicians Loo-keng Hua, Wen-tsum Wu, Yuan Wang, Lo
Yang, Kung-ching Chang and Jing-run Chen had been its chief editors.
In 1985, Acta Mathematica Sinica initiated an English edition (Acta
Mathematica Sinica, New Series) to promote the interactions between
Chinese and international mathematical research. From 1999, this English
edition had an important reform. Now it is renamed Acta Mathematica
Sinica, English Series, and is published by the well-known
Springer-Verlag.
A new editional board has been organized for the English series, which
consists of Chinese mathematicians both in China and overseas, such as
Lo Yang (former president of Chinese Mathematical Society), Kung-ching
Chang (former president of Chinese Mathematical Society), Zhi-ming Ma
(President of Chinese Mathematical Society), Gang Tian (Chair-professor,
Dept. of Math., MIT, USA), Fang-hua Lin (Professor, Courant Institute of
Math., New York Univ., USA), and etc. The new board is working hard to
boost the English series to one of the highest-level mathematical
journals in the world, and many important papers from China and overseas
have been published.
