Hi, ILL-ers,

I was recently asked to suggest items for our library to add to the
collection, based on our ILL statistics. I have not done this before,
and I would appreciate any suggestions or guidance my colleagues can
offer.

The idea, I understand, is that I am supposed to go through and see how
many times a title has been borrowed in the last 6 months, and, based on
the number of requests recommend certain titles for purchase.

If your library uses this kind of information to make collection
development recommendations, I would love to know how many borrowing
requests you would use as a minimum for recommending purchase.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
