The 39th Annual Interlibrary Loan Conference, May 1-2, 2008, Lakewood!

 

Dear Library Colleagues:

 

Mark your calendar for the 39th Annual Interlibrary Loan Conference to be held May 1-2, 2008 at the Sheraton Denver West Hotel in Lakewood, Colorado.  Our line-up of speakers and events is continually growing and includes keynote speaker, Brewster Kahle; U.S. internet entrepreneur, activist and digital librarian, who will be discussing Internet Archives/Open Libraries; the Colorado Interlibrary Loan Committee's very own Nancy Sensel, Interlibrary Loan/Circulation Supervisor for the University of Denver Law Library, who will present "Copyright Basics 101;" and if you want to know what national researcher and library consultant Pat Wagner of Pattern Research, Inc, is up to, you'll just have to hear it from her firsthand at the conference!  There will be opportunities to interact with vendors and OCLC will present its annual update session.  The affordable registration fee remains at only $85 for the two-day conference.  (I would double check with Lori  and Lisa P. first about the preconference...it may be changing for 2008)
