[ILL-L] More on Overdues

Thanks to everyone who responded to my overdues query. The information
will be helpful in making final decisions about our policy.

 The patron who was the reason for this discussion has 9 ILL books, all
of which we are on verge of being billed for replacement costs, she also
has several hundred dollars in fines from circulation and she also is in
trouble with local library. If she does manage to clear all of these
fines and charge, it is my opinion that she not be given ILL privileges
again. I have spent a significant amount of time dealing with this mess.
We respond to each overdue notice we receive, so of late I have
literally spent hours dealing with one patron's overdue mess.
