Julie,
As a lender you don't need to worry about the copyright issue. That is
for the borrowing library to deal with. The articles should be marked
with the proper CCG or CCL designation (after all these years I do still
get them confused) and then the borrowing library should pay copyright
on those articles.
I hope that this helps!

Subject: [ILL-L] copyright clarification from new ILL-er

My ILL manager just retired, so I'm at the front end with copyright
questions for the first time. Please excuse the basic question.....here
goes.

We have had 2 requests yesterday and 2 more requests today (4 total) for
journal articles for the same patron from the same institution. All 4 of
the articles are from the same 2006 issue of one particular journal. On
quick review of the literature, I wasn't clear on whether or not we
could lend up to 5 articles (journal title) or are limited to lending
only 1 article from this issue. I'm sure futher study would clarify, but
in the meantime, we'd like to respond to the request more quickly than
that.

Discussion from you knowlegable ILLers?

Thanks ahead of time for your words of wisdom.

Julie
