[ILL-L] copyright clarification from new ILL-er

My ILL manager just retired, so I'm at the front end with copyright questions for the first time. Please excuse the basic question.....here goes.

We have had 2 requests yesterday and 2 more requests today (4 total) for journal articles for the same patron from the same institution. All 4 of the articles are from the same 2006 issue of one particular journal. On quick review of the literature, I wasn't clear on whether or not we could lend up to 5 articles (journal title) or are limited to lending only 1 article from this issue. I'm sure futher study would clarify, but in the meantime, we'd like to respond to the request more quickly than that.
